GlarAssist provides its user with the possibility to record sessions, whether the recording is made online or offline.


Cloud Recording

Record entire sessions or just key moments of the visual remote assistance session to ensure a backoffice repository for continuous improvement measures.


With the cloud recording option, workers and experts can start and stop to record a session at any time. The recording is automatically available on the user backoffice for future visualization.


Offline Recording

Users can record offline videos with Augmented Reality annotations whenever is needed. This is useful in the scenario when there is no internet connection at all, or, to record virtual guides, instructions or processes and make them available for other team members.

How to record?

Desktop: To record the visual remote assistance call, click on the recording icon located underneath the file transfer icon on the right hand-side of the screen. After clicking the recording icon, the session will immediately start being recorded.


To stop recording click in the same recording icon and a text box will appear. Click in the “stop” button to confirm the action

Mobile Device: To record the visual remote assistance call, click on the recording icon located on the left hand-side of the screen. After clicking the recording icon, the session will immediately start being recorded.


To stop recording click in the same recording icon and a text box will appear. Click in the “stop” button to confirm the action.
