How to access, create and manage work packages


A work package is a combination of one or more open issues that are gathered and executed all at once.


Access Work Packages

To access the Work Packages navigate to the left menu and select "Issues". Then, click on "Agenda".

The agenda page will open. In the header, you will have the option to go to Work Packages by clicking on the "Work Packages" tab.

This will take you to the Work Packages page where you can see the tables with all the Work Packages and the corresponding information.


Create a Work Package

Select one or more folders/issues in open issues. By doing this it will automatically appear the option to create a work package. Click on the select "Schedule" button at the top of the page.

After this, a new window will appear, and there, by default, the “Create new work package” option is already selected.

The user has to name the work package and define the execution date since these fields are mandatory. After filling in all the necessary fields click on "Next" to advance to the next step.

In this step, you will see your selected issue and you can select one or more in the check-box. By doing this the “Remove” and “Change Assignees” options appear if you want to change or apply new assignees to specific issues.


Add issues to existent Work Packages

You can also select the “Add to work package” option if you want to add your selected issues to an already existent work package. 

Then you just need to select the work package you want to add the issues to. After doing that, the execution date defined for the existing work package appears in the place-holder form, but you can change it if necessary.


If you need to change assignees or remove them from an issue all the steps are the same as indicated before.
